So a few weeks back I closed up my blog "The Smoke and Who's Still Standing When It Clears" on Facebook--I considered it a wise decision since "Smoke" is a blog that Anne Shirley might have written, say she moved to the second craziest city in the country (NOLA being the first, n'est-ce pas?) and fell to too much temptation. But by removing Anne, I removed the bathwater too--I love to live in San Francisco, and I needed a space to share that. "Smoke" was all around observations and struggles..."Notes" is my dream of Anne loving her City and singing ballads to it.
So...
Here are my notes from the City I love...minus the parts of California that I don't.
